About Hypnosis:
One
of the most important things to understand is that Hypnosis is
a natural state that we experience every day. Have you ever driven
somewhere but can't really remember doing so? Have you ever gotten lost
in your favorite book or movie? These are all examples of a light state
of hypnosis, or trance state. I use this natural state to
promote positive change within your own subconscious mind, which
operates about 90% of your system and negative, restrictive
beliefs.
Hypnosis can be defined simply as a very focused, heightened state of
concentration in which the body and conscious mind are in a relaxed,
peaceful state. In this state, the subconscious mind is very receptive
to helpful positive suggestions for change.
Hypnosis allows a person to focus intensely on a specific memory,
thought,
feeling or sensation while blocking out mental distractions. Hypnosis
accesses the Subconscious
Mind
which really operates about 90% of your
systems; including Stress, Biochemical Changes,
Breathing, Relaxation, etc. Any effective change MUST
be
accepted by the
Subconscious Mind first for that change to last.
Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP):
Neuro-Linguistic
Programming, or "NLP" for short is a system designed to achieve
excellence in any desired area. NLP works with the internal language
patterns and associations a person operates from. For
instance, a person may have a negative association with cloudy days
that acts as an internal trigger and causes a mood shift. NLP can help
modify that negative internal connection that results in unwanted mood
and reaction.
Using NLP techniques in conjunction with guided Hypnosis can be extremely effective since the triggers for stress, happiness, motivation, desire, etc. are processed and formatted by the subconscious mind.
